Introduction

KlickPay is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and security of personal and transaction-related information processed through its website, applications, services, payment gateway, merchant integrations, APIs, plugins, and related platforms.

This Privacy Policy explains what information KlickPay may collect or receive, why such information is needed, how it is used, and the safeguards applied to protect it. KlickPay processes data only as necessary to provide secure payment and related services, support merchants and customers, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, improve service quality, and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations, including the requirements applicable in the State of Kuwait.


Data Privacy

  1. Security

    1. KlickPay shall take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational precautions to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
    2. Personal information is stored on secure systems and protected networks, and access is limited to authorized employees, personnel, and service providers who require such access to perform their duties.
    3. Although KlickPay applies appropriate safeguards, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
  2. Analytics Collection

    1. KlickPay may use analytics tools, including third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics, to anonymously understand website and application usage, improve performance, and enhance user experience.
    2. This information may include standard log and technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and interaction behaviour.
    3. No personally identifying payment card data or sensitive authentication data is collected for analytics purposes.
    4. KlickPay does not use analytics tools to track or collect personal information beyond what is necessary for legitimate service improvement and reporting purposes.
  3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

    1. KlickPay does not rent, sell, or trade personal information to third parties.
    2. KlickPay may disclose personal or transaction-related information where necessary to:
      • comply with applicable law, legal process, or regulatory requirements;
      • protect and defend KlickPay’s rights, property, systems, and contractual arrangements;
      • prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized transactions, or security incidents; or
      • protect the safety of users, merchants, banks, payment channels, or the public.
    3. In order to provide the requested services, KlickPay may share necessary data with trusted service providers, acquirers, banking organizations, payment processors, technical support providers, hosting providers, fraud monitoring providers, and other partners directly involved in delivering the service.
    4. KlickPay requires such third parties to apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the data and to comply with relevant legal and contractual obligations.
  4. Business Transitions

    1. In the event that KlickPay goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of all or part of its assets, personal information may be among the transferred assets.
    2. In such cases, KlickPay will seek to ensure that the receiving party continues to provide an appropriate level of protection for such information consistent with this Privacy Policy.
    3. KlickPay may post a notice on its website or platform regarding any material change in ownership or control affecting personal information, where appropriate.
  5. Collection and Use of Information

    1. KlickPay may collect or receive information directly from users, merchants, websites, mobile applications, merchant systems, plugins, APIs, and other integrations when necessary to provide its services.
    2. This may include account information, customer information, transaction information, order information, merchant configuration data, technical callback data, support communications, and service usage information required to operate the service securely and effectively.
  6. Data Collected Through Merchant Integrations, Plugins, APIs, and Checkout Connections

    When KlickPay is used through merchant websites, e-commerce platforms, mobile applications, plugins, APIs, hosted payment pages, or other technical integrations, KlickPay may receive certain customer, order, transaction, and technical callback information required to process and manage the payment transaction securely and accurately.

    This data is collected only to the extent necessary to enable the payment service, communicate transaction results, support reconciliation, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, support refunds and chargebacks, and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

    1. Customer information
      KlickPay may receive customer information such as name, email address, and phone number (if provided during checkout) in order to identify the transaction, support payment verification, help the merchant associate the payment with the correct order, assist with support and dispute handling, and where applicable send payment-related notifications or records.
    2. Transaction information
      KlickPay may receive transaction-related information such as reference ID, transaction amount, and selected payment method in order to create and process the payment, route the transaction through the appropriate payment channel, maintain transaction records, confirm payment status, and support reconciliation, reporting, settlement, and auditing.
    3. Order details
      KlickPay may receive order-related details including summary of items, item code and item name, quantity, unit price, item total price, item currency, order totals, tax, and discounts in order to identify what the payment relates to, ensure transaction accuracy, support merchant reconciliation, facilitate refunds where applicable, and help resolve disputes, complaints, or operational issues.
    4. Return URLs and callback URLs
      KlickPay may receive return URLs such as success and error pages, as well as gateway callback or webhook URLs, in order to redirect the user appropriately after payment, communicate payment results securely to the merchant’s system, and enable automated order status updates, transaction confirmation, and technical integration functionality.
    5. Purpose limitation
      KlickPay uses such data only for legitimate payment-related and service-related purposes, including payment processing, authentication, fraud prevention, reconciliation, transaction support, technical integration, complaint handling, refund and chargeback processing, reporting, and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  7. Feedback and Service Communications

    1. KlickPay may from time to time ask customers or merchants to provide feedback about their experience, and such information may be used to improve KlickPay software, products, services, and websites.
    2. The customer or merchant is under no obligation to provide such feedback. Any information voluntarily submitted through forms, surveys, or support communications may be used for service review, quality monitoring, and improvement purposes.
    3. KlickPay may contact customers or merchants by email, phone, SMS, or other available communication channels regarding service notices, transaction status, support matters, technical issues, complaints, or other important service-related matters.
  8. Transaction Fees

    By using KlickPay’s website, applications, integrations, plugins, or payment services, the customer or merchant acknowledges that applicable transaction fees, third-party processing fees, bank charges, or payment channel fees may apply in accordance with the relevant service agreement, payment process, or refund handling procedure.

  9. Physical Verification

    In case a customer or merchant is physically verified by KlickPay in connection with any affiliated service and/or product, such verification may be treated as a general verification that may also be relied upon for another affiliated KlickPay service and/or product where legally and operationally appropriate.

Resolving Complaints


KlickPay maintains a complaint resolution mechanism to properly receive, review, investigate, and respond to customer and merchant complaints in a fair and timely manner.
  1. Receiving a complaint: KlickPay may receive a complaint from a customer or merchant via phone, email, online form, or other communication channels and will record it appropriately.
  2. Acknowledgement: KlickPay will acknowledge that the complaint has been received and is under review.
  3. Investigation: KlickPay will investigate the complaint carefully to determine its nature, validity, and required action.
  4. Resolution: KlickPay will take the necessary steps to resolve the issue where possible and appropriate.
  5. Communication: KlickPay will keep the complainant reasonably informed regarding the progress and outcome of the complaint handling process.
